COMPOSITION:
Nebivolol (5mg) + S-Amlodipine (2.5mg)
CAUTION
Taking Nebivolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Nebistar-SA Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Nebistar-SA Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.As patients taking Nebistar-SA Tablet may suffer from dizziness, headache, fatigue or nausea the ability to react may be impaired and this may affect your ability to drive.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nebistar-SA Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Nebistar-SA Tablet
Nebistar-SA Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Nebistar-SA Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebistar-SA Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Nebistar-SA Tablet works
Nebistar-SA Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nebivolol and s-amlodipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Nebivolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while s-amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
Common Nausea, Constipation, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Weakness, Headache, Dizziness, Cold extremities, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Edema, Numbness of extremity, Decreased blood pressure, Slow heart rate.
